Eight acres on the Key Peninsula, about fifteen minutes past the Purdy spit. Dahlias, tomatoes, and a few pigs rooting through the fir.
Neither of us grew up farming. We watched a lot of people do it on the internet, then met enough real farmers nearby to start doing it properly.
What we grow
Cut flowers all summer, dahlias above all. Zinnias and mixed bouquets. Tomatoes, peppers and beans from July. Pasture raised pork by the box from late October, USDA inspected, collected here at the farm. Dahlia tubers in the spring.
